Broken Window theory of Behavior

I can vaguely remember hearing about this concept. However, intuitively it seems quite simple and basic. Oddly enough I find this stuff interesting and compounding that by extrapolating it to online behavior makes this even more compelling for me to read.

Hmmmm. I can apply any number of parallels in my own life to this theory, but wondering which you are applying to me? Is it the abandoned building (with many broken windows) just outside my back yard? Because that building has recently been refurbished, and now there are only a few broken windows. That has probably kept my property from declining in value by more than the 50% that is seems everyone else's has. Or is it my frequent typing errors on this site, dragging down what would otherwise be an intellectual group?

I have been contemplating a witty retort. I have none. Maybe after I finish the pot of coffee I am brewing I might.
